Mel helps busy, overwhelmed mums carve out space for themselves.

Breathwork practices to slow down and breathe… find stillness, calm and clarity.

Yoga practices to improve strength and flexibility… of the body and the mind.

As a mum of four, Mel understands how easy it is to become lost in the relentless demands of day-to-day life and motherhood.

Mel has lived through periods of deep overwhelm, mental fatigue and feeling as though she simply couldn’t keep going. It was through yoga and breathwork that she began to find moments to pause, reconnect with herself, and bring back a sense of joy into her life.

These experiences now lie at the heart of Mel’s teaching. Her online breathwork and yoga practices are designed to support mums living in survival mode—offering accessible ways to regulate the nervous system, release tension, build strength and create meaningful time for themselves, even within a busy schedule.

Mel’s teaching is vibrant, grounded and thoughtful - combining strong, dynamic movement with nourishing practices that explore stillness and self-inquiry.

Mel encourages students to observe their physical and emotional experience with curiosity, finding the balance between strength and softness, effort and rest.

The live online classes provide a supportive schedule and a sense of accountability, helping students show up for themselves and make their wellbeing a consistent part of life.

Inclusivity is at the heart of Mel’s approach.

She creates a welcoming space where everyone, regardless of experience, can develop a deeper connection with the practice.

Mel’s belief in yoga and breathwork as powerful tools for personal growth and wellbeing underpins every practice.

Mel trained at Triyoga with international teachers Michael James Wong and Adam Hustler, and continues to be inspired by Mia Togo, Radhika Das and other teachers of similar lineage. Mel is also a qualified Just Breathe teacher.

With over 15 years of personal practice and a previous career as a secondary school teacher, she brings clarity, confidence and strong communication skills to her teaching.

In addition to her online teaching, Mel teaches in person at David Lloyd North Finchley and from her home studio in North Finchley, London.

Mel also has pre-recorded classes available through Teacher’s Practice, an online platform for yoga teachers, created by Michael James Wong.

Mel’s mission is simple:

To help mums pause… breathe… strengthen… find space… and reconnect with themselves - so they can feel more joy and be more present, supported, and resourced for the life they are living.
